As an Advanced Certified QB Pro-Advisor offering a customized approach to QuickBooks training, we provide small business owners and managers with a cost-effective, proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities with their books. We provide one-on-one training with clients to get the full potential of the software through remote access or face-to-face sessions. Proper QuickBooks set up will produce meaningful reports.
Our Services
File Setup Desktop and QBO Refinement
Set-up is completed at Acute Education business office and includes*:
- Set up Company Information and Preferences
- Creation of Chart of Accounts
- Customers/Jobs/Vendors – 5 customers/vendors with addresses, phone & terms(Import from excel if available)
- Items list & Sales Tax codes – Maximum of 5 to 10 items with proper account designations
*New Set-up file will be used for training
Training & Ongoing Support
For Desktop and Online
We offer New file set-up in all versions of QuickBooks, Clean-Up of QB files, training of your personnel in the proper use of QB, and sales tax & payroll reports can be addressed. We also work with owners in the interpretation of their Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and Financial Reports.
Set-up is completed remotely and includes:
- Customize Chart of Accounts

- Customers/Jobs/Vendors – 5 customers/vendors with addresses, phone & terms
- Items list & Sales Tax codes – Maximum of 5 to 10 items with proper account designations

Enhanced Payroll Setup

Fees not included in purchase of software
Enhanced For QuickBooks clients who handle payroll and taxes themselves (Fees not included in purchase of software)
On-line payroll is only for QuickBooks On-Line.
Training for a typical payroll includes:
First Session
- Set-up payroll to default to your most commonly used settings.
- Set-up 1-2 employees of each type of employee (hourly, salary, f/t, p/t) within your organization.
- Walk you through your first payroll
- Create procedures & forms using print screen that will be used to simplify the process and will be your guide for each payroll if needed
****Installing Payroll History not included in training
Second Session
- Introduce quarter end and annual demands, walk you through the preparation of the 941form, State forms and 940 deposit.
- Use of Excel summarized reports
Remote Bookkeeping
Starting at $95 per hour
Our Service allows for the same QuickBooks® ProAdvisor to work with you on a regular basis. You no longer have to explain your situation and your company's needs to a new person each time you call.
We review and record expenses, develop journal entries as needed and reconcile bank and credit card activity supplying questions to insure we are getting all needed information.
We assist CPA with year end adjustments and for an additional fee will prepare 1099's.
*Remote bookkeeping does not include hosting.
